I had an enjoyable stay at Barkly Backpackers. The common room area was really cool and had a great atmosphere. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, and I loved that they had an oven, not common in most hostels.

Spending my Christmas at this hostel was a delightful experience. I enjoyed the warm hospitality of the staff who made sure we were comfortable. The hostel had free breakfast, which was a great way to start the day, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything one would need to cook a meal. The best aspect of the hostel was its location, as it was within walking distance of major attractions, and the common areas were cozy and made me feel at home.
The hostel fell short in some aspects. The rooms were quite dirty, and the bathrooms had a strange smell.

For a budget stay, this hotel has everything I needed and more. The location is perfect- close to the beach and city center. The hotel is very clean and offers adequate facilities for a comfortable stay. Transportation options are easily accessible, and the staff is very accommodating.
Nothing is perfect, but I couldn't find any negative aspects to mention.

A great place to stay with a lively nightlife scene nearby and easy access to transport links. the facilities are well-maintained, keeping the hostel clean and comfortable. the communal areas are spacious and offer a relaxing environment to unwind after a long day of exploring.
The staff could be more attentive to the needs of short-term guests and the location may not suit everyone's preferences.

I chose this hostel for my work appointment as it provided a smoke-free environment and a 24-hour business center, which was perfect for my needs. The laundry facilities and library were also convenient and well-maintained.
The only downside was that the hostel did not have a fax machine available, which I needed for some important documents related to my work.

The common room at Barkly Backpackers has been a buzzing hub of activity since I arrived. It's been a great place to meet other guests and hang out.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom facilities to be a little crowded at times. But hey, that's just my opinion, others might still find it perfectly fine.

Absolutely mind-blowing experience at this backpackers! The atmosphere felt like a massive shared house with super friendly and helpful staff who even went above and beyond to polish my CV. The living room and kitchen were a cozy and lovely space, and the room cleaners were a lifesaver for those on a tight budget. Conveniently located near a free parking street and a short distance from the beach and city center. The roommates were cool and respectful, making me want to extend my stay. Can't wait to visit again and meet more amazing people!

We recently spent a few nights in a hostel and had a great time. the location couldn't be better, with easy access to supermarkets, trams, and nightlife. We were impressed with the well-equipped kitchen that was open 24/7 and the opportunity to work for accommodation.
The only downside during our romantic escape was the noise level in the living room. It was often occupied by young adults playing loud techno music right next to the kitchen and dining area.

The staff are friendly and provide basic amenities such as ceiling fans in the rooms and storage boxes under the beds. Additionally, the breakfast setup by the owner in the morning is a nice touch.
All in all, this hotel provides a comfortable stay.
